First look at the new AC Cobra GT Coupe

Exclusive images have just been revealed of the first ever official AC Cobra coupe set for production and, working from an enhanced version of the existing AC Cobra GT Roadster platform, this model draws on the company’s rich racing heritage.
To celebrate the new coupe we’re announcing a new limited model – similar in ethos to the AC Cobra GT Roadster Edition 63. The new AC Cobra GT Coupe Clubsport Edition is road-legal but ready for the track – pared back and honed it is envisaged as unrivalled in its class. Only 99 examples will be built, and it’s powered by a ferocious 799bhp V8 engine.
Inspired by racing victories from AC’s formative years, which includes the Monte Carlo Rally and the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the new AC Cobra GT Coupe adds motorsport derived enhancements to develop an AC Cobra unlike any other.
Undeniably a member of the AC Cobra GT family, it retains key styling touches from the Roadster but is in part inspired by the infamous AC A98 coupe Le Mans race car from 1964.
The new AC Cobra GT Coupe is available with either a normally aspirated 450bhp (456 PS) V8 or as a GT S Coupe with a 720bhp (730 PS) supercharged option. The strictly limited Clubsport Edition, restricted to just 99 examples, uses a 799bhp (810 PS) supercharged and specially tuned V8. Prices start from £325,000 + taxes.
